August 2015 Updates: Tracking redirection fallback

From now on, advertisers can configure alternatives that customers will see, even if the page that they land on is invalid. In other words, clients can decide how the system should react towards invalid traffic, such as:

  • Partners, whose partnership to the advertisers have a “paused status”
  • Partners that have been deactivated by the advertisers
  • Any other traffic that doesn’t work

Should there be any of such traffic, advertisers can still work around them. By configuring the “Behavior of invalid traffic” and setting a “Source of fallback image” and a “URL of fallback page”, clients can determine the image to be shown in case an ad media is called, as well as where the user should be redirected to in case an ad media is clicked on.
