October 2015 Updates: Double Opt-in, Filter in Transaction Exports

Double opt-in

From now on, all new users need to confirm the email address provided during the signup process. They can do so by clicking on the link provided in the confirmation email they receive, after their users are created. This means that at least one functioning email address has to be provided.

This email authentication not only complies with the security standards in the EU, it also helps to improve data quality and maintain stability for the newsletter system implemented in Ingenious Enterprise.

Filter in transaction exports

The APIs for the transaction exports is increasingly flexible. From now on, users can decide if APIs should return the data based on “tracking time” or “last update time”. This enables users to extract either a performance report based on tracked transactions, or a financial report on final commission and final conversion status – depending on your needs.
